An Altered Perspective: How Trauma Changes Views and Beliefs. Dr. Best delivered the opening plenary at this annual conference for military veterans and first responders.
On Scene Interventions: Strategies for Preventing PTSD in First Responders. In this workshop, Dr. Best discussed how first responders can manage their own reactions and support their colleagues at the scene of potentially traumatizing critical incidents.
